Anyone know of any good farmhouses for sale outside of Lawrence? Are there any left? Do they even still exist? Sometimes I am haunted by the thought of baling on Cali and setting up shop just outside the city limits in good ole Douglas County. I bet by now there are suburbs sprawling all the way from KC to Topeka. Lone Star and the State Fishing Lake were always nice areas though. And nothing beats a legit (non-internet) radio
signal from KJHK.
Aaagh! what am I thinking? I could never do Kansas again; for any longer than a couple week stay anyway. It's too late for me now!
